Good for electronics, could improve support

I financed a new smartphone through Katapult, and the process was mostly smooth. The $1 initial payment was a definite plus, and the phone arrived in about 6 days, which was fine. Their payment plans are pretty flexible, but I had a question about my Virtual Credit Line and it took a bit longer than I expected to get a clear answer from customer service. Overall, a good option for electronics if you need financing, just prepare for a little wait if you have complex questions.

Easy way to get a new TV

I used Katapult for a new Television Lease to Own and it was super easy! The initial payment promo was great, and I got approved really fast. My TV arrived in just a few days. Will definitely use them again for furniture!

Hey, thinking about getting a new laptop but my credit's not great. Does Katapult actually do a hard credit pull, or is it more like a soft check thing?

N Noor 4 months ago
Nah, they don't do a hard check for real. It's more about income and stuff they look at. I got approved pretty quick without my score taking a hit.

Yeah, what the other person said. They don't report to the main credit bureaus either, which is good if you're trying to avoid more inquiries. It's not like a regular loan.
